One of the newer, yet highly anticipated, events in Daytona Beach is the ‘Magic of Lights” hosted by the famous Daytona International Speedway featuring over 1 million lights! Operating daily, this event is sure to be a crowd pleaser among all ages! Enjoy the magic of holiday lights and displays from the comfort of your own vehicle. Next up, is not only a local favorite but a national one: Nights of Lights in St. Augustine, Fl. Nights of Lights has been listed among the top ten holiday light displays in the world by National Geographic. St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights features millions of tiny white lights that create a magical atmosphere in the Nation’s Oldest City plus it’s free of charge! Our staff enjoys all the local boutiques, historic architecture, restaurants, and homemade fudge shops while taking in the beautiful light displays. Only about an hour up the coast from Daytona, this event is definitely worth the drive! This event runs daily and there are great options from third party tour companies operating tram tours, boat tours, horse-drawn carriage tours, and even private vehicle tours. This next family-friendly event is a favorite among our staff with little ones: Sunday Snowdays at Wonderland. This event is hosted by Daytona One, across from the Speedway and it’s completely free! Sundays in December enjoy this family friendly event featuring a dual lane real snow slide, rides on the Polar Express train, an interactive DJ and more!
